Young people, on the other hand, use CBD as a remedy for stress and lack of sleep. And it helps them, says Frank Zobel, Vice Director of Addiction Switzerland: "CBD helps with sleep disorders, stress, anxiety, pain and symptoms of mental disorders such as depression."

Smoking is harmful either way

The majority of CBD consumers are generally rather young and want to change their behavior with CBD and thus consume less of the illegal weed. A majority of those questioned also succeeded. In contrast to illegal marijuana, there are no known significant risks when consuming the legal substance.

The most common form of CBD is: blossoms, Olive oil and Tinctures demanded. But most of those surveyed smoke the weed along with tobacco. Nevertheless, there will still be a market for CBD cannabis, emphasizes Frank Zobel from Sucht Schweiz. The demand is there. The market could get smaller, but it won't go away entirely.
